The Final between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles

The Kansas City Chiefs played against the Bengals Sunday 1-29-2023 and won with 23-20. unlike the Philadelphia Eagles it did not go very easily, but they got there. The Philadelphia Eagles easily won with a nice outcome of 31-7 against the 49’ers.

The finals will be held between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. The tension during the game will be killing, because the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles are evenly matched. Their last match was on October 02 in 2021. The result of that match was 42 – 30 for the Kansas City Chiefs, so a great victory for the KCC. But will it be a great victory for them again or will the Philadelphia Eagles be better? We will discuss the stats of both sides later.

The Kansas City Chiefs have the number 1 offensive this season. Patrick Mahomes is leading them to victory after victory. The chemistry between Mahomes and Trevis Kelce is phenomenal. But the season is long and more and more players are getting injured. Mahomes is struggling with a sore ankle and that’s not everything. JuJu Smith-Schuster and Kadarius Toney were all injured during last game. How will the offense look like during the Super Bowl and is everyone fit in time?

Even though the offense is the number 1 ranked, the rushing game from the Chiefs is weak. This is probably the weakest part of the KCC. In the Conference title match they couldn’t get the running game started. Pacheco did really well, but they need to do better in the Super Bowl!

The defense of the KCC is not the best in the league, but what a performance in the Conference Championship game. Chris Jones was by far the best defensive player at the Chiefs. Sack after sack! If they can perform just as good in the Super Bowl I think they have a good chance against Jalen Hurts.

The Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles have also competed 3 times in the super bowl. But unlike the KCC they have one only once out of those 3 times. The Eagles have had one of the easiest schedules this NFL season, but despite that they worked really hard to get to the finals of the Super Bowl. Maybe this will be the second title for the Eagles, who knows?

The expectation of Jalen Hurts were high! But he has lived up to all expectations. Jalen Hurts is the perfect mix between a passer and runner. However he wasn’t at his best in the game against the 49’ers. With 31 points you can’t complain as an offense, but they could’ve score much more touchdowns if they want. The win over the 49’ers was a pretty easy win due to injuries at the 49’ers. All their QB’s were injured after half time. So nobody know what the results would’ve been with all QB’s ready to play.

The chances of the Eagles winning the Super Bowl are pretty high. They have the most complete team in the matchup. Their running game is amazing with Miles Sanders. He played an incredible game last night. But receivers like Smith and Brown are always easy targets for Hurts. All in all I think that the Eagles are slightly in favor of winning the Super Bowl, but it’s going to be an amazing game for sure!

If you look at the stats of both teams, you can see that the KCC is very indifferent. The Philadelphia Eagles, on the other hand, are a bit weaker, but overall more steady. If you look at the offense and passing then the chiefs are first and the Eagles second and 9^th. But if you look at the Defense the Chiefs are 12^th and the Eagles 3^rd. If you look at the rushing the Chiefs are 20^th and the Eagles 5^th. So when you look at the stats there will be no obvious winner here beforehand.
